This stuff is no joke! I use it all the time around the house and even brought a roll with me to work. It's super thick so it's not the best to use for something you want to lay flush but if you have something you want to hang that doesn't need to come down anytime soon, this is the stuff. It will do some damage if you just try to yank it off though so be careful. I blowdryer does the job when it needs to be removed. I recommend having this tape around even if you don't have a specific job for it in mind. You WILL end up using i.
The adhesive on the push button mechanism that opens and closes my microwave door loosened up after 12 years causing the stainless steel piece to fall to the floor. I ordered this tape to reattach the the cover after cleaning off the old adhesive with Goo Gone. It worked well, however, because it was difficult to handle the stickiness of the double sided tape and then place it precisely in the middle of the inside piece that the stainless steel cover fits over, it is somewhat tilted. I couldn't remove it after pressing it on because it really stuck!! But, it did the job and the cover doesn't fall off anymore.
The tape was very easy to cut and place on lights. Held perfectly and no issues. You can't even see the tape! The prior adhesive I had on it, could be seen and did not hold well. Light kept falling. Definitely will buy this one anytime I need it.
I was having a difficult time figuring out how to mount this magnetic knife block onto the big tile in my kitchen. This super-adhesive tape was perfect! Didn't have to drill, and the pliable tape fit down into the grooves giving smooth even contact. I'm using it on several mounting projects I hadn't even thought about tape as an option! And when I first had it a little crooked, the tape peeled off easily and I just re-centered with the same piece, super-easy.
This product will be your new best friend if you have lots of children's artwork that you want to display for now but not forever. I don't have any experience with how it will be in a few days, months, years when or if i try to remove it. I am using it to try to keep 30 year old children's artwork from falling apart. Construction paper and masking tape only last so long.
